In Season: Oregon Winter Salad w/ Madeline McKee

This Saturday, December 6th, Madeline McKee will be teaching how to prepare her Oregon Winter Salad! 🥕🥗 Crunchy cabbage, candied pecans, and a tangy vinaigrette come together in a bowl that encapsulates some of Oregon’s best winter produce.
Demos start at 11 and 12 inside the Pavilion, and are FREE to attend!
About the chef:
“I have spent over 30 years working in the food industry. I began working in the kitchen as a dishwasher, a line cook, and then line manager. I gradually moved onto the front of the house (restaurant), as a host, server, cocktail server, a bartender, building wine menus, managing the floor, starting up our own off grid Family Suppers, and eventually owning a small fine dining Spanish restaurant in Eugene, Oregon. It was called Zelaya, around the corner from the W.O.W. Hall– beautiful experience. I have also been fortunate enough to have worked for some of Portland’s finest restaurants and chefs. I am passionate about great food, kind community, and connecting the two.”
