In Season: Preserving Tomatoes w/ Farm Chef Faye

This Saturday (9/6), learn to make the most of late summer’s tomatoes with Farm Chef Faye Sofranko! In this class, Faye will share three simple ways to preserve tomatoes to help you keep the harvest going. “Together, we’ll also make a seasonal tomato vinaigrette that’s nourishing and easy to preserve for later.” 🍅 Demos start at 11 and 12 inside the Pavilion, and are FREE to attend!

About the chef:

Join Farm Chef Faye, a culinary educator and certified Master Food Preserver with the Clackamas County Extension Office. Faye is passionate about seasonal food preservation, culinary herbalism, food as medicine, and food sovereignty.
Her cooking is rooted in scratch-based techniques, honoring seasonal abundance, and building a reciprocal relationship with the land.
